I don’t understand the toilets here. Nothing actually flushes down. We can’t even put toilet paper in there. I’ve done it accidently a few times, and it’s amazing that the toilet paper won’t flush. It’s so light and thin. I won’t go into any more detail on this topic, but I just think somebody should come up with a better plumbing system here. Oh wait…one more thing. In public restrooms there is rarely any toilet paper left in the bathroom stall and there is usually never any soap to wash your hands. One time I was smart enough to bring my own mini roll of toilet paper. I offered some to one girl, but then I felt like I had to offer the rest of the ladies in line some paper (all ppl. from our group). I couldn’t believe how much they were taking from my baby roll. I should have limited them to two squares per person.
Anyway, enough of that. Today was kind of a rough day. I was really grumpy at the end. My classes were more difficult today. I’m realizing that I won’t be getting any participation credit because I NEVER have anything to say in class. The prof. will ask a question, and I never know the answer, so of course I don’t just raise my hand and make something up. It’s not that I think I might know the right answer but am too afraid to raise my hand and possibly be wrong….it’s just that I have absolutely no idea what the answer is. In linguistics we were making tons of comparisons to Latin, and apparently it will be like this for the rest of the time. That’s good since I’ve had 0 years of Latin class. I’m learning a lot of Latin, but what good is that going to do me? I could go to a Latin mass and say I understood what the priest was saying I guess. I used the word Latin once in each of the last four sentences….just noticed that I overused it, but I don’t feel like changing my sentences around. For my other class today (civ. and culture of Spain), I was way lost. I understood the words that were coming out of the professor’s mouth, but I couldn’t put it all together to make sense, and to see how everything was all related. Luckily, my roommate is also in that class, so tonight she gave me the lowdown. She likes history.
Should I go to Pamplona this weekend to see the people run with the bulls? Some students are probably going on Sat. night and then coming back on Sun. It’s just that nobody will get any sleep. You just sleep on the streets if you can. You know me and sleep though. You can’t have one without the other. I just used the word “you” a lot. I also don’t like large crowds of people. I think I just answered my own question.
I got an email from amazon.com the other day saying that my gateway laptop had been sold, so ship now. I was soooo excited. I didn’t even really read the email, and I sent an email to Jordan to tell him to send it out as soon as possible. I then get this disappointing email from Jordan telling me that it was a scam. The address that we were supposed to ship to was in Nigeria. Hmmmmm……the buyer’s email address was something like sara.h@yahoo.com, but we were supposed to ship it to some Dibauw Ofibibubo (I made up the name). I looked on my amazon account and it didn’t say anything about my computer being sold. It was still listed as on the market. How crappy is that? Anyway, Jordan’s taking care of that…reporting it and such. These scam people should live in the US because they would probably get more people sending them stuff (for free and not knowing it). I would think that when most people see that they need to ship to Nigeria, they would think twice. Or maybe not if they don’t ever watch Dateline.
I want chocolate.

You should see the toilets in Japan. Dude, they could flush a Redwood. Plus seat warmer and telescoping bidet.

Sell that TP.

You gotta see those bulls. Don't get gored.
Your blogs are funny.
First: I'm jealous of japanese toilets.
Second: What does TP stand for? Toilet paper?
ohhhhh my. Ok, Jordan had to explain it to me. I forgot that I told the story about me giving away toilet paper. I was thinking that you were referring to the computer situation!
Hahaha. These comments are funny. And, I agree, this post was very funny. :)
